Cotton

Row cotton

Cotton is a soft, fluffy stable fiber that grows in a boll, or protective capsule, around the seeds of cotton plants. The ginning process of the cotton crop generally separates the seeds from the cotton fibers, which are then packed into bales and transported. The cotton fiber is most often spun into yarn or thread and used to make soft, breathable textile. Since it is used in the manufacturing of clothing raw cotton is a very popular import in production countries such as China, Bangladesh and Vietnam.
